If you happen to be in Santa Fe, New Mexico this coming Friday, check out The 12 Dogs of Christmas — Europe Traditions in Canine Portraiture — a collaborative show between KSG Fine Arts and the Santa Fe Shelter and Human Society.  It’s a brilliant way to decorate your home and help animals in need. Twenty percent of the proceeds of all sales go to the shelter.

Portraits of different breeds — going back to the late 19th Century — will be displayed, as well as panels of the same dog, painted by different European artists through the ages. Highlights include a French Bulldog with a silver patina and a bronze Chihuahua.

The 12 Dogs of Christmas — Europe Traditions in Canine Portraiture. Opens Friday, 5- 7 pm, KSG Fine Art Gallery, 66 E. San Francisco St, December 29th through January 7, 2023.
