A brave 11-year-old boy battling brain cancer had his dreams come true when he was gifted a puppy from the Make a Wish Foundation. Elijah had told Make A Wish that he wanted a ‘black, brown and white corgi puppy’ and that’s exactly what the sweet boy received.
Make A Wish shared the following to their Facebook page in honor of Love Your Pet Day, which was on February 20. Watch the following touching video and make sure your tissues are handy. This is what pure love looks like.
Make A Wish posted the following sweet message on Facebook. “In honor of National Love Your Pet Day, we’re taking a moment to appreciate the positive impact pets have on wish kids!Eleven-year-old Elijah, who is battling a brain tumor, wished to have a puppy. Elijah has always dreamed of having a puppy and he knew exactly the type of dog he wanted – a black, brown and white corgi puppy. He even had a named picked out, Tucker! We’re excited to share that Elijah’s wish came true this past weekend when his Wish Granters surprised him and introduced him to his new furry friend, Tucker!!”
